After years of watching solar panels power his former business, David Blittersdorf, the founder of AllEarth Renewables (formerly Earth Turbines), knew he could make a better product. Building upon his experience in the wind industry with turning/yaw mechanisms, he combined the solar energy system with Global Positioning System (GPS) technology, and designed the AllSun Tracker. The AllSun system consistently produces 10 to 20% more energy than other solar trackers on the market, and 34 to 45% more than fixed, roof mounted solar panels.
